              *** Notes on the use of this software ***

* Connecting from other devices on your network

- Starting the server

When connecting programs such as VAIO Media or network devices 
compatible with VAIO Media Video Server, you must start VAIO Media
Video Server first by using the VAIO Media Console on the server
computer.

Make sure that the "Other devices on the network access to this 
computer" checkbox is selected.

To start VAIO Media Console on the server computer, click "Start," 
click "All Programs," click "VAIO Media," click "Server 
Administration," and click "Console."


- Video Capsules served by VAIO Media Video Server

VAIO Media Video Server will not serve the following Video Capsules 
to client devices:

 - Playlist Video Capsules
 - Video Capsules with errors
 - Video Capsules set for timer recording
 - Video Capsules being recorded
 - Video Capsules with playback control set


- Supported network interfaces

VAIO Media Photo Server supports the following network interfaces:
 - Ethernet (100 BASE-TX / 10 BASE-T)
 - Wireless LAN Interfaces (IEEE 802.11b) that are built into 
   VAIO computers
 - Sony Wireless LAN Interface Card (IEEE 802.11b or IEEE 802.11a) 



   *** End-User License Agreement for Windows XP Professional ***

In compliance with the terms and conditions of End-User License
Agreement for Windows XP Professional, you may permit a maximum of
ten(10) computers or other electronic devices to connect to the
Workstation Computer to utilize the services of the Product solely for
File and Print services, Internet Information Services, and remote
access (including connection sharing and telephony services).



   *** End-User License Agreement for Windows XP Home Edition ***

In compliance with the terms and conditions of End-User License
Agreement for Windows XP Professional, you may permit a maximum of
five(5) computers or other electronic devices to connect to the
Workstation Computer to utilize the services of the Product solely for
File and Print services, Internet Information Services, and remote
access (including connection sharing and telephony services).
